2024 Sioux Falls Prairie Masters 3k/5k Swim

Entry Requirements: 
Swimmers must be registered members of United States Masters Swimming (USMS), or obtain a one-event registration.

The pool is an eight lane, 50 meter pool.

Entry Fee:
There is no entry fee, but all swimmers must be over the age of 18 and current members of USMS.  You may obtain a one-event USMS registration through this entry form for $20.

Online entries only. 

Deadline:
Registration will open at 8 a.m. (CT) on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 and will close at 11:59 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.  Individual deck entries will not be permitted.

Attention, Adult Fitness Swimmers!

The Sioux Falls Prairie Masters Swim Team has been granted special access to the Frank Olson pool on Saturday, June 29th from 8-10:30 a.m. Come join us for a 3k or 5k swim!

You can swim these distances "non competitively" (at your own leisure, with any equipment you like) or you can complete a timed 5k swim to submit to the 2024 USMS 5k/10k ePostal National Championship. In order to do the latter, you need to register for the event ahead of time.  Details can be found here: https://www.usms.org/events/national-championships/virtual-championships/2024-virtual-championships/2024-5k-10k-virtual-championship.  We will have lap counters and timers on hand to help you complete the swim in compliance with the rules of the competition.

In order to participate in this particular swim at Frank Olson (noncompetitive or competitive), you must be a member of United States Masters Swimming - in order to comply with the insurance policies set forth by USMS and the city of Sioux Falls. If you're not a USMS member right now, you may purchase a one-event membership for $20 as part of this registration process.  

Love swimming but don't want to get wet this time? We need counters and helpers!! People of all ages are welcome on the pool deck to help out. Contact the event director if you're interested.

This weekend swim will gear us up for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. Join us in celebrating our freedom, measuring our fitness, and making room for delicious grilled treats to be devoured later!
