Entry information:
- You must be USMS registered to participate ($50 annual fee).Link to Register for USMS
- One-Event membership not available for this meet.
- Meet entry fees are non-refundable.
- Pre-registration closes April 6 –events will be pre-seeded and heat sheets published in the meet program & online.
- Online entry is paid by credit card to "ClubAssistant.com Events."
- Deck entries close 30 minutes prior to Meet Start Time on each day. All deck entries will swim in open lanes in existing heats or in added heats.
- Maximum of 5 individual events per day. You do not need to signup for all 5 per day(Unlimited Relays)
Entry fees and deadlines:
Positive check in required for Events 24,25(1000Free) and 50,51(1650Free).
Course: 8 lane, 25yd pool, using 8 lanes for competition. There is a 3 lane, 25 yard diving well that can be used for warm-up and cool down. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1.
Meet Conduct: All events will be timed finals. All events will be swum slowest to fastest by gender with the women’s heats going first followed by the men’s heats.
Relays: Relay entries will be accepted up until the start of the session before each relay. All relays must complete a relay entry card complete with first and last name, and age of each swimmer. Each card must have the club/workout group name (all 4 members must be registered with that club/workout group; circle the distance and type of relay.
Positive Check-in: Positive check-in is required for the 1,000 free, and 1,650 free. You may be scratched if you do not check-in at the registration table.
Results: Will be posted at the meet and online at www.minnesotamasters.com within one week.
Event T-Shirt: If you register by end-of-day Sunday, March 27, you will have the option to pre-order a Minnesota Masters 2016 Short Course Yards State Meet t-shirt. Short sleeve shirts are $12, and long sleeve shirts are $18. ***The t-shirts are only available via pre-order. They will not be available for purchase at the event. YOU MUST REGISTER BY SUNDAY MARCH 27th, 11:59PM TO ORDER A MEET T-SHIRT.
EVENT SCHEDULE
***The "will not start before" times listed by each group are to assure adequate rest between events. This is not meant to act as a timeline. For well attended meets, the group start times will be later than the time listed by each group. There will be a minimum of a 5 minute break between groups, and sometimes greater if the meet is running ahead of the goup "will not start before" times.
