Final results will be available at www.minnesotamasters.com by Wednesday, April 19th. Times swum by non-Minnesota LMSC members are not eligible for Minnesota LMSC records.

Seeding:  Event seeding and lane assignments will be developed prior to the Meet and e-mailed to all registrants.  Distance events will be seated after positive check-in.  Some changes in heats or lanes may occur on the day of the Meet.  Seeding will be slow to fast except for the 1650 which will be fast to slow.

Split Request:  Swimmer must notify the Meet Director of the intent to record an initial split time prior to the conclusion of the meet with a Split Request form. Pre-swim requests are encouraged in case of pad malfunction. The request for relay leadoff split times and initial backstroke distance times in individual backstroke and relay events must be made prior to the swim.

Relays:  Those organizing relays may sign their teams up by e-mail to Gerald Vandam, vandammn6@aol.com by Thursday April 13th at 12:01 am, or may fill out and submit a written relay card at the Meet and return it to the Meet Director no later than 1 hour before the prospective event.  Each card or e-mail must include the club/workout group name.  For the relay to be official, none may be "unattached".  All relay members must be registered with the same club but may be from different workout groups.  The distance and type of relay must be circled or otherwise indicated.  Women's, Men's relay heats may be combined depending on the number of entries.

Event Order: There will be two opportunities to swim each of the 50-yard events.  Swimmers who swim both will, by default, have the second swim designated as a “time trial” which will be official, but no points will be allocated to the individual or a team. In addition, certain events with few entries may be combined into single heats. Breaks will be scheduled so that no swimmer is projected to have less than 8 minutes of time between individual swims and no less than 5 minutes of time between an individual swim and a relay swim.  There will be a 15 minute break after event 7 and 25.

Scoring:  The winning team will be the Minnesota LMSC based Club or Workout Group who has the most cumulative points at the end of the meet.  Athletes & Relays will score points for their respective USMS Clubs and workout groups. Points will be awarded as follows; for Individuals: 9,7,6,5,4,3,2,1; Relays: 18,14,12,10,8,6,4,2.  Note:  all 4 members of the relay must belong to the same Workout Group for that Workout Group to receive any points.  Club MINN Athletes & Relays will not score points towards overall team totals, but workout groups under Club MINN will.

Please note: This Meet will be canceled if prohibited by a governmental authority, in which case all entry fees will be refunded. Swimmers who cancel are not eligible for refunds.
