SANCTION: This sanction is issued by Missouri Valley LMSC to Wichita Swim Club for U.S. Masters Swimming: Sanction Number 284-S008

LOCATION: Garvey Aquatic Center 8323 East Douglas Ave Wichita, KS 67207 316-683-1491

FACILITY: 10 lane, 25 yard pool with non-turbulent lane lines. Daktronics Timing System with touch pads and horn start. 10 lane display scoreboard. Additional lanes are available for warm up/warm down. Pool is 8 feet deep at start end and 8 feet deep at turn end.

The competition course has been certified in accordance with current USA Swimming Rules and Regulations, Article 104.2.2C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all US Masters Swimming athletes registered by the day of the meet. All swimmers must be registered as 2014 or 2015 athlete members of US Masters Swimming.

The age of each swimmer as of October 25, 2014 determines age classification for the meet.

DISABILITY SWIMMERS: Athletes with a disability are welcomed and shall provide advance notice of desired accommodations to the Meet Director.

The athlete (or the athlete's coach) is also responsible for notifying the session referee of any disability prior to the competition.

FORMAT: Timed finals meet.

WARM-UP: Warm ups will start at 3:00 pm, with the meet starting at 4:00 pm.

Warm up/Cool down lanes will be available throughout the meet.

Swimmers may not dive into the pool during general warm-up. Swimmers must enter the pool by stepping feet first, or sitting and sliding in, in a safe and cautious manner. Entering in any other manner may result in the disqualification from one or more of the swimmer's events for the session at the discretion of the Meet Referee. Swimmers may dive during a designated sprint warm-up.

ENTRIES: DEADLINE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION is Midnight Friday, October 24th, 2014.

"No Time" (NT) entries will be accepted for events in which a swimmer does not have a time of record.

All swimmers may enter a maximum of five events per day.

Entries will be limited to 500 swimmers.

Deck entries will be accepted in the order received to the extent that open lanes are available. Deck entries must be submitted to the Clerk-of-Course on the provided forms.

FEES: Meet Entry Fee: $10.00, Plus Events: $5.00 each. Late and Deck Entries: $40.00

**Full-Time Students will pay full meet fees and will be refunded event fees at the meet.

AWARDS & SCORING: TBD

SEEDING: All events will be pre-seeded.

RULES: 2014 US Masters Swimming and Missouri Valley Masters Rules and Regulations will govern the meet. MVMS safety guidelines and warm-up procedures will be in effect.

Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, or locker rooms.

Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is strongly discouraged.

FACILITY RULES: No chairs will be allowed on the concrete bleachers, or in front of the metal bleachers.
