0.5-mile South on McLean County Hwy 33 (N 1275E) to Recreation Area Drive
West onto Recreation Area Drive 0.5-mile to PARKING and REGISTRATION CHECK-IN

RULES & SAFETY: Current USMS Open Water rules will apply. Registrant must be at least age 18-years on June 27, 2015. USMS registration is required of all participants. All participants are required to wear the event supplied brightly colored swim caps for safety reasons. View USMS Open Water rules here.

CHECK-IN: Starts at 7:00 A.M. and closes at 8:30 A.M.  Your 2015 USMS Membership Card and photo identification are required at check-in.

COURSE BRIEFING: 8:35 A.M. REQUIRED for ALL participants.

COURSE: Rectangular 1.2 Mile loop course marked by buoys, lifeguards, rowboats, rescue boards, kayaks, officials, and other safety resources. In-water start, swim counter-clockwise around four orange 8-foot tetrahedron turn buoys (with red guide buoys on straight-aways), exit water with brief run on beach sand, and through finish chute. EVERGREEN LAKE WATER AND AIR TEMPERATURE: 
Anticipated water temperature range: 73F to 83°F.
Average air temperature in June is a low of 59.9°F and a high of 82.8°F.

WETSUITS: Wetsuits will NOT be allowed when the Evergreen Lake water temperature is 78°F or higher.

USMS/ILMSA MEMBER ONLINE REGISTRATION: Online CIOWS entry registration begins with USMS membership verification and purchase availability. You must bring your 2015 USMS Registration Card . The $46.00 cost for USMS/ILMSA membership is in addition to your event entry fee. One Event (OEVT) membership to USMS is available for $15. The OEVT fee is in addition to your entry fee.

ONLINE REGISTRATION: Online registration entry provides immediate entry confirmation and email receipt.  When paying by credit card, your credit card statement will reflect a charge from "ClubAssistant.com Events."

RACE DAY ENTRIES: NONE - NO EXCEPTIONS!
NO TRANSFERS. NO DEFERRALS. NO REFUNDS. Event may be delayed or cancelled due to extreme weather, other emergency, or as determined by the CIOWS Event Director, Facility/Venue Host, Safety Officials, or Event Referee.

T-Shirts: A CIOWS T-Shirt is available for $15.00 each at the time of registration. Please indicate size and quantity of T-Shirt(s) when registering online.  A limited supply of T-Shirts only may be purchased at the event for $15.00.

RESULTS: Provided by It's Race Time.  Results will be posted at www.Itsracetime.com and at www.ciows.org.  There is a $25 fee for failing to return the timing chip.

AWARDS: Non-wetsuit distance competitions: Awards will be presented to:
Overall top 3 Men and top 3 Women place finishers.
First place finisher in each Men's and Women's age group division.
If wetsuits are allowed: Awards will be presented only to the overall top 3 Men and top 3 Women place finishers.

PARKING: Free parking is available in the gravel lots located next to the registration tent.
ONSITE FACILITIES: Restrooms, showers, changing areas are available at the Comlara Park Glasener Beach House.

FOOD: Plenty of food and drink will be available for race participants and volunteers.  No alcohol allowed.
